KASTO is a global market leader for metal sawing machines, storage systems, automated handling equipment for metal bar stock, sheet metal and parts cut to size, as well as the associated software, from Germany for over 175 years. The Canadian market is served by KASTO Inc., the US subsidiary of KASTO, since 2018 with local sales and service staff based in Canada, as well as regional dealers in different regions of Canada. KASTO Inc. offers universal sawing machines for workshop use to high-performance band sawing machines for the industrial cutting of large bar, blocks and plates. KASTO develops and produces semi-automatic and fully automated bar stock and sheet metal storage systems to meet a wide range of requirements: from compact, standalone storage towers up to fully automated high-rack honeycomb systems with thousands of storage cassettes. The product range also includes fully automated sawing centers and combined storage solutions, which handle all storage, sawing, marking, palletizing and bundling processes – beginning from loading the raw material to robot-assisted retrieval of the cut parts.
